Jarrod Scott Fleming has been named the Head Basketball Coach for the Todd County Central High School Lady Rebels.
Coach Fleming has previously served under two successful TCCHS Lady Rebels Basketball Coaches, Jeff Stamps (4 district championships) and Jimmy Chapman (2 district championships) for several years. As an assistant, Coach Fleming worked and attended many camps, such as Austin Peay, Western Kentucky University and Murray State University. “Under Coach Stamps, I was taught the importance of the complete student-athlete. Not only did we develop players that played at the collegiate level, he and I are very proud to say that 100% of players that graduated under our program went on to post-secondary education,” stated Coach Fleming. “I would like to continue this reputation under my leadership. It is important to have student-athletes to represent not only our school, but represent our community.”
Coach Fleming is well known at Todd County Central High School and within the Todd County community. Fleming is beginning his 20th year at Todd County Central as a History and Business teacher. Coach Fleming has two children and one granddaughter. Fleming stated, “Now that my children are grown it allows me to devote my full time to the Lady Rebel basketball program and am very thankful for the opportunity to make the program better.”
“Rebuilding a program will needless-to-say take time, patience and understanding. However, with hard work, dedication, and clear goals I feel we can make strides in the right direction. To the parents, administration and Site Base Council of TCCHS I thank you for this opportunity to be your new Head Girls' Basketball coach.”
